United in Giving Workplace Campaign

• Conduct an annual workplace campaign and allow employees to make contributions through payroll deductions.

• Special recognition will be given to businesses or departments that have 100% participation.

 

United in Learning through Impact Tours, Agency Expos, or Allocation Volunteers

• Allow and encourage employees to participate in Agency Impact Tours. 

  • Impact Tours allows employees to visit local United Way Partner Agencies to learn about the way agencies are making a difference.  United Way can coordinate tours with agencies for up to twenty individuals. 

  • Agency Expos are a great way to help employees learn more about Partner Agencies.  Agency expos can be hosted at your site or at a different site coordinated by United Way.  Agencies set up booths and bring information about their programs.  Employees can spend time touring and visiting agency representatives.   

• Allow and encourage employees to serve on Allocation Panels to provide feedback about how United Way invests in our community through Partner Agency allocations.

 

United in Service

• Allow and encourage employees to volunteer with United Way Partner Agencies through individual or corporate-sponsored volunteer days or activities. 

• United Way will help you coordinate corporate volunteer days to ensure your team has the best experience.

• Supporting the work of United4Gordon through a corporate gift or United4Gordon sponsorship.
