Community Impact Investment
The Board of Directors for United Way of Gordon County makes our community impact investment a top priority. A board Allocation Committee and Community Allocation Panel Volunteers drive the decision of where to invest these community-donated funds. The Board's Allocation Committee reviews the financials and impact of each organization. Allocation Panel Volunteers visit agencies seeking funding to complete onsite evaluations and make recommendations. These two separate processes ensure that organizations funded meet minimum funding guidelines and are making the greatest impact here in Gordon County.

Allocation Panel Volunteers typically visit agencies between May 15 and June 15. We will begin seeking volunteers for agency panels in March. Panel Volunteers have the opportunity to help United Way of Gordon County invest in our community.

If you're interested in serving as an Allocation Panel Volunteer, we would love to have you join us. Our volunteer application will open on March 1, 2025.
